Lead Poisoning Prevention
Lead exposure in the home can lead to developmental and other health issues in children. Find resources to help make your home safer for you and your children.
Oral Health Program
Tooth decay affects lower-income and minority children at higher rates. We work with local oral-health providers to provide screenings and dental exams to Chicago-area students.
CDPH Vision Program
The Chicago Department of Public Health partners with Chicago Public Schools to provide vision exams and eyeglasses to all students as they have need.

For Chicago residents without insurance, CDPH provides clinical mental health services in 6 clinics throughout the city.
Nursing Support for Families
Households with newborns may qualify for a visit from a registered nurse around 3 weeks after birth with Family Connects Chicago.
STI Specialty Clinic
CDPH provides free testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) at clinics in Roseland, Austin, and Lakeview.
Vaccine Clinics
CDPH has five immunization clinics throughout the city, providing vaccines at no charge to children 0–18 and flu shots for adults.
